Frequently asked

Is Can We Trust It free?

Yes — you can check messages for free with no account, with three free text checks a day. For higher daily limits and screenshot uploads, paid plans start at $7/month.

Do I need an account?

No. You can paste a message and get a risk read without signing up. An optional account lets you keep your plan and history across devices.

Is it private — do you store the messages I check?

The public Wall of Shame is opt-in only, so nothing you check is shared unless you choose to. Analytics are country-level only, with no raw IP addresses stored.

What can I check?

Suspicious emails, text messages, links, job offers, and social media posts — or upload a screenshot.

How does it decide whether something is a scam?

It analyses the content with AI for known scam patterns and gives a probabilistic risk read — flagging high-risk patterns and explaining the reasoning, rather than claiming certainty. You always make the final call.

How accurate is it?

It is an assistant, not a guarantee. It highlights warning signs to help you judge a message, and recommends verifying anything important through official channels you find yourself.

What languages does it support?

20 languages, with full right-to-left support for Hebrew, Arabic, and Persian.
